Ricky Gervais' new sitcom creates excuse for 'small person' gags
Gervais is returning to TV (have you seen The Invention of Lying?) with a brand new sitcom based on the life of vertically challenged actor Warwick Davis. Let's hope it doesn't come up short! I wonder if it will reach the 'heights' of Gervais' previous telly work? Hahahaha - midgets.

The show, predictably entitled Life's Too Short, is co-written with Stephen Merchant but everyone forgets about him because he didn't do a funny dance in The Office. There have also been a number of celeb cameos rumoured, including Sophie Ellis Bextor, Cat Deeley and Johnny Depp - although, if Depp finds out he's being listed along with those other two, he'll probably drop out.

If this preview clip is anything to go by, we can expect more of The Extras-type humour, and they have even used Les Dennis, Cheggers and Barry from Eastenders, so it's really only funny if you have seen The Extras. Oh, who am I kidding? Hahahaha - midgets.

Warwick Davis is a dwarf, not a midget.

You're worse than Hitler.
