Something about Spartacus trailers brings out the Tumblr in me

Whenever they bring out a new trailer, like this one for Spartacus: War of the Damned, something in it lends itself to a gif, I find. More often than not, this involves the forcible insertion of a sword into someone's person. Don't ever change, guys.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 happened this weekend, and all sorts of new trailers and announcements were unveiled. I couldn't go, as the State of California requires me to be more than 200 yards away from Emily Blunt at all times. It was all a big misunderstanding: I wasn't hiding under her car; I was just looking under it for my contact lens.

I spent years doing history at school. What can I remember? The bloke who shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand and started World War I was called Gavrilo Princip. That's it. Maybe if it'd been all threesomes and swords through the face I'd have paid more attention.
